In anticipation of the influx of passengers returning to Delhi-NCR following Chhath Puja celebrations, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is extending its service hours from 9 to 11 November 2024 to better serve commuters. This initiative aims to facilitate early morning connectivity for travellers arriving at the New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations, two major hubs receiving passengers from across India.
Morning train timings
For three consecutive days, metro services on the Yellow Line, originating from New Delhi Metro Station, will begin operations at 5:15 AM, an adjustment from the usual starting time of 5:45 AM. Similarly, services from the Anand Vihar ISBT Metro Station will commence at 5:30 AM, half an hour earlier than the regular 6:04 AM schedule. This temporary adjustment in the timetable allows travellers arriving on early morning trains to access the metro network more conveniently, reducing wait times and easing their journey into the city.

Key stations for interchange facilities
