Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, together with representatives from the Japanese Government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), signed a cooperation agreement in Tirana aimed at promoting financial inclusion and business development through the empowerment of digital tools.

Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja shared moments from the signing ceremony on social media, describing the agreement as a significant collaboration in support of SMEs and agricultural enterprises.

This collaboration aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises, agricultural businesses, and family farms through:

– Empowerment of digital and innovative tools;

– Provision of non-financial services (financial education);

– Promotion of Albanian products;

– Branding, certification, and standardization of products according to European standards,” said Gonxhja.

Gonxhja emphasized that this support is intended to stimulate the development of exports to foreign markets. Another crucial step is the creation of a cluster for agro-tourism to foster rural economic growth, attract tourists, and generate jobs.

This agreement will be implemented through the cooperation of MEKI, FED Invest, and JICA,” Gonxhja added.
