Discussion on Establishing Preparatory Committee for Multi-Purpose Al-Salam Agricultural Cooperative Association in Taiz

A meeting in the Shar’ab As Salam district of Taiz Governorate, chaired by the Deputy Governor for Development Affairs Abdul-Wasi’ Al-Shamsi, discussed today the mechanism for forming a preparatory committee to establish the Multi-Purpose Al-Salam Agricultural Cooperative Association in the district.

During the meeting, Al-Shamsi highlighted the role of cooperative associations in achieving social and economic development and advancing the agricultural sector.

He emphasized the necessity of involving development champions in the committee’s work to raise community awareness, encourage community members to join and enroll in the association, and benefit from the services, projects, and loans provided by cooperative associations.
