Congress MP and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has targeted the BJP government. Rahul Gandhi has attacked the BJP over the mob lynching in Haryana and the beating of an elderly man inside a train in Maharashtra. Rahul Gandhi said that minorities, especially Muslims, are being constantly attacked in BJP-ruled states.
Mob lynching case of Nashik and Haryana
Rahul Gandhi on Sunday slammed the BJP on social media platform X, accusing it of creating an atmosphere of fear and hatred across India. His comments came in the wake of an elderly man being beaten up by his co-passengers on a train in Maharashtra and a Muslim man being lynched in Haryana on suspicion of carrying beef.
Challenging the rule of law
Rahul Gandhi said in a post written on Twitter, ‘People who have climbed the ladder of power by using hatred as a political weapon are continuously establishing the rule of fear in the entire country. Hateful elements disguised as mobs are openly spreading violence. They are challenging the rule of law.’
Government machinery became a mute spectator
Along with this, the Congress MP said, ‘These miscreants have got a free hand from the BJP government, that is why they have got the courage to do this. Continuous attacks on minorities, especially Muslims, are going on and the government machinery is watching as a mute spectator. The rule of law should be established by taking strict action against such anarchist elements.’
Elderly man beaten up in train

A young man was beaten to death in Haryana
