The Republic of Moldova is hosting the informational tour “Big Fam Trip Moldova 2024.” The event is taking place from October 24 to 31 and brings together participants from Italy, Germany, Romania, Azerbaijan, China, and India, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Culture, the program includes visits to the country’s main tourist attractions. Participants will tour the capital, visit the Petru Costin Collection Gallery of the Ialoveni District Council, then the Mileștii Mici Winery, followed by a trip to Gagauz Autonomous Region, where they will visit the city of Comrat, the Comrat Wine Winery, and the “Gagauz Sofrasi” Ethno-Touristic Complex. The trip continues to Chateau Vartely in Orhei, Rockscor Brewery in Ghindești, Florești, Soroca Fortress and the Candle of Gratitude, the Codru Tourist Complex, Curchi Monastery, the underground restaurant Epoca de Piatră, Eco Resort Butuceni, and the Orheiul Vechi Reserve.
Other tourist attractions include: Tighina Fortress, the city of Tiraspol, the Aquatir Sturgeon Complex, Castel Mimi, Cricova Winery—the second largest underground winery in the world—offering tastings and a folk program.
According to the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture, Andrei Chistol, this tour helps to make the Republic of Moldova better known for its tourism potential. “Our country offers international tourists unique oeno-gastronomic experiences, rural tourism, and adventure tourism. At the same time, we are an important center for the development of medical tourism. The presence of these countries in Moldova will help position us on the global tourism map,” said Andrei Chistol.
Sergiu Manea, President of APIT, emphasized that this tour is a valuable opportunity to showcase Moldova’s diversity and authenticity to the world. International participants, through the developed tourist packages, will help place Moldova on the map of top tourist destinations.
The purpose of “Big Fam Trip Moldova 2024” is to increase Moldova’s international visibility, boost inbound tourism, and develop strategic partnerships. The event contributes to creating a positive image of Moldova among global tourists and attracting tourism investors.
The informational tour will conclude on October 31.
