The Kaduna South Senator, Sunday Katung, met with the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, on Thursday to discuss partnerships in information technology, agriculture, and education within his senatorial district.

At the meeting held in Abuja, Ambassador Freeman emphasised Israel’s interest in deepening its partnership with Nigeria.

He outlined plans for collaboration in technology and agriculture, specifically targeting initiatives that would benefit Senator Katung’s senatorial district.

The ambassador also committed to supporting education in Kaduna South by equipping a local school with computers, aiming to boost digital skills among students.

The conversation further explored ways to share agricultural knowledge and improve education on sustainable farming practices in the Kaduna South Senatorial District.

Katung, for his part, welcomed the initiatives, acknowledging the positive impact they could have on both education and agricultural productivity in the region.

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing optimism about the future of Nigeria-Israel relations and the positive impacts of their collaboration on the citizens of Kaduna State.
