Kyrgyzstan lacks 20,000 agricultural vehicles, Agriculture Ministry says

AKIPRESS.COM – The country lacks 20,000 agricultural vehicles so far, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Janybek Kerimaliev said.

The Agriculture Ministry has a program on expansion of the network of machine and tractor stations across the country, he said.

“The Mechanization Department was given direct tasks. Private and public tractor and municipal stations are opening in the country now, but our task is not mere opening of the station, but to modernize existing equipment and buy new ones,” the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture said.

Construction of machine and tractor stations in some parts of the country led to reduction of cost for some services, he added.
