Nashik: Taking out a grand rally after his release landed a gangster in Maharashtra in jail again. Harshad Patankar, a gangster from Maharashtra’s Nashik walked out of jail recently and took out a mega rally to celebrate his release. However, he was sent back to prison after a video of his celebration rally went viral on social media.

Patankar was sent to jail under the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Slumlords, Bootleggers, Drug Offenders and Dangerous Persons Act (MPDA).He was released from jail on July 23. To celebrate his release, his supporters took out a car rally in Nashik.

The rally was reportedly held from the Bethel Nagar to Ambedkar Chowk. At least 15 two-wheelers took part in the rally the gangster can be seen waving at his supporters while coming out of the car’s sunroof. His supporters also shared the reels of the rally on social media, with the caption “comeback”.

Taking note of the viral reels, police arrested Patankar again along with his six of his aides for holding the unauthorised rally and creating chaos. Patankar faces several police cases, including attempted murder, theft and violence, according to reports.
