Maharashtra: SSC, HSC supplementary exams results out

MUMBAI: In the class 10 (SSC) and 12 (HSC) supplementary exams of Maharashtra, 37% and 32% students have passed. The performance of SSC students this year has been better than last year when the pass percentage was 30% across the state. For HSC, the pass percentage this year is the same as last year. The results can be accessed on www.mahresult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.in.
Mumbai region continued to be at the bottom of the nine divisions.
In Mumbai, 2,951 of the 10,628 students who wrote the class 10 exams, passed (28%). In class 12, of the 23,226 students in Mumbai who appeared for the exams, 5,929 or 32% passed. The maximum number of students from Mumbai region appear for the supplementary exams.
Across the state, 11,502 of the 31,270 students who wrote the SSC exams passed with girls performing better (39%) than boys (36%).
Nashik had the best pass percentage of 52% in SSC. In the HSC exams, 59,200 students appeared. Of these, 19,217 passed. Again girls performed better (36%) than boys (31%). Latur topped the nine divisions with a pass percentage of 48%.
The exams were held in July-August. Students can apply for revaluation from Aug 24 to Sept 9.
