The incoming Starbucks CEO, who has caught the world’s attention only because of his ‘super commute’, studied engineering before starting his career selling ‘Scope’ – P&G’s equivalent of Listerine – in the late ’90s. His later success at Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Chipotle is well known. So is he, now that he’s signed a contract that will let him fly more than 6,000 miles or roughly 10,000km a week at company expense. For context, Delhi-New York is 11,765km.
