Work has started on the plan to connect Noida to South Delhi through metro. There is a plan being considered to connect Tughlakabad in Delhi directly to Sector-142 station of Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line. For this, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started the process of conducting a survey.

Metro is running on Aqua Line between Noida-Greater Noida. Sector-142 metro station is built on this line. A new metro corridor is being considered from Sector-142 to Tughlakabad. It will be built crossing Yamuna. This corridor will be about 15 km long. This will be the third metro corridor between Noida-Delhi.

According to officials, DMRC has decided to conduct a metro topography survey to prepare three new corridors. This corridor is proposed to be built from Sector-142 to Tughlakabad in Delhi, Samaypur Badli to Kundli and Kundli to Sonipat. Construction work is already underway to bring the metro from Saket to Tughlakabad. People living around the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will benefit more from the construction of a corridor between Noida and Delhi.

Residents of Noida’s Sector 128, 129, 130, 137, 142, Raipur, Bakhtawarpur, Chhaprauli, Mangrauli, Jhatta Badauli, Garhi Shahdara and many other sectors and villages will benefit from this. People will also be able to easily go to Delhi’s Khanpur, Saket and Mehrauli through this metro.

It will be easy to reach Faridabad-Palwal

After the construction of this corridor, it will become easier to reach Faridabad, Ballabhgarh and Palwal in Haryana. Metro is running between Delhi and Ballabhgarh. Work is underway on a plan to extend it further to Palwal. The link of the corridor being built between Noida-Delhi will be given in this metro line. In this way, people will be able to reach Palwal easily through the metro.

People get stuck in long traffic jams at Kalindi Kunj

Kalindi Kunj border is the only route to travel from Noida to Badarpur, Tughlakabad, Faridabad and other areas. People get stuck in traffic jams here in the morning and evening.

E-buses will run on 27 routes via Noida

At the same time, preparations are underway to run e-buses on 27 routes to the inner parts of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna area and Ghaziabad and Delhi. In a meeting held on Tuesday in this regard, it was decided that the process should be expedited by studying the plan in detail. About 100 e-buses are proposed to run. The team of Uttar Pradesh’s undertaking Directorate Urban Transport gave a presentation on the operation of e-buses in front of Noida Authority CEO Dr. Lokesh M. The CEO said that in the first phase, e-buses will be run on the internal routes of Noida, Noida to Greater Noida, Noida to Delhi, Noida to Ghaziabad. Details related to these routes were presented. He said that instructions have been given to speed up the process soon by studying the plan of 100 e-buses in detail. The survey work of the route has been completed to a large extent.
